Wolfgang Jellinghaus was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany. His father, Walter Jellinghaus, was himself a guitar maker and naturally introduced the craft to Wolfgang at a young age. Wolfgang build his first guitars in the age of 14.
The Signatur model is a double top guitar, built with a lightweight lattice-braced double-top nomex in between spruce on the outside, cedar on the inside system for the soundboard. The neck body joint combines the construction of the traditional Spanish heel wit a free floating fingreboard. The side are double and have a second layer of Cypres to keep most of the vibration focused on the top, and not lost to the sides, Volume is huge on this instrument. The guitar is easy to play. Overall a very impresive student concert guitar.
Guitar will be available in September 2019.
